Privacy Policy
We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. This privacy policy informs you about how we handle your data when you visit this website.
1. Overview
The following notes provide a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit this website. Personal data is all data with which you can be personally identified. For detailed information on the subject of data protection, please refer to our privacy policy listed below this text.
Data collection on this website
Who is responsible for data collection on this website?
Data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator. You can find the operator's
contact details in the imprint of this website.
How do we collect your data?
On the one hand, your data is collected when you provide it to us. This can be data that you enter
in a contact form, for example. Other data is collected automatically by our IT systems when you
visit the website. This is mainly technical data (e.g. internet browser, operating system or time
of the page visit). This data is collected automatically as soon as you enter our website.
What do we use your data for?
Some of the data is collected to ensure error-free provision of the website. Other data may be used
to analyse your user behaviour.
What rights do you have regarding your data?
You have the right to receive information about the origin, recipient and purpose of your stored
personal data free of charge at any time. You also have the right to request the correction or
deletion of this data. If you have given your consent to data processing, you can revoke this
consent at any time for the future. You also have the right to request the restriction of the
processing of your personal data under certain circumstances. Furthermore, you have the right to
lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
2. Responsible Party (Controller)
The responsible party for data processing on this website is:
Leon Schmidt
Roteichenring 6
68167 Mannheim
Germany
Email: kontakt@callmeleon.de
The controller is the natural or legal person who, alone or jointly with others, decides on the purposes and means of processing personal data.
3. Data Collection on this Website
Server Log Files
The provider of this website automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:
- Browser type and browser version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL
- Hostname of the accessing computer
- Time of the server request
- IP address
This data is not merged with other data sources. The collection of this data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimisation of his website — for this purpose the server log files must be collected.
4. Cookies & Consent Management
This website uses Klaro as a consent management tool. Klaro displays a consent
banner on your first visit and allows you to choose which services may process your data. Your
consent preferences are stored in a cookie named klaro in your browser. This cookie
does not contain any personal data and merely records which services you have accepted or declined.
The Klaro consent cookie is strictly necessary for respecting your privacy choices and is set on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR (legal obligation) in conjunction with § 25 para. 2 TTDSG. You can change or revoke your consent at any time by clicking on the cookie settings in the footer of this website.
Beyond the consent cookie, this website does not use cookies for advertising or marketing purposes.
5. Web Analytics (Matomo)
Scope of processing
This website uses Matomo, an open-source web analytics platform. Matomo is self-hosted on our own server — no data is transmitted to third parties. Matomo is only activated if you have given your explicit consent via the Klaro consent banner.
Data collected
When you consent to analytics, Matomo collects the following data:
- Anonymised IP address (the last two bytes are masked)
- Date and time of the request
- Page title and URL of the page visited
- URL of the previously visited page (referrer)
- Screen resolution
- Browser language and browser type/version
- Operating system and device type
- Time zone
- Files that were clicked and downloaded
- Outbound links that were clicked
- Page generation time
- Country, region and city of the visitor (derived from the anonymised IP)
Purpose and legal basis
We use Matomo to understand how visitors interact with our website in order to improve its content and usability. The legal basis for this processing is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR in conjunction with § 25 para. 1 TTDSG. You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by adjusting your preferences in the Klaro consent banner.
Hosting & data storage
Matomo runs exclusively on infrastructure controlled by us. All analytics data is stored on our own server and is not shared with, or accessible to, any third party. We do not use the Matomo cloud service.
IP anonymisation
IP anonymisation is enabled by default. Your full IP address is never stored. Matomo masks the last two bytes of every IPv4 address (and the last 80 bits of every IPv6 address) before any processing or storage takes place.
Cookies set by Matomo
When you consent to analytics, Matomo may set the following cookies:
_pk_id.*— Recognises returning visitors (duration: 13 months)_pk_ses.*— Stores the active session (duration: 30 minutes)_pk_ref.*— Stores the referrer initially used to visit the website (duration: 6 months)
These cookies are only set after you have given your consent. If you do not consent, no Matomo cookies are set and no analytics data is collected.
Opt-out
You can revoke your consent at any time by opening the Klaro consent banner (accessible via the cookie settings link in the footer) and disabling the “Matomo” service. Alternatively, you can enable the Do Not Track setting in your browser — Matomo is configured to honour this signal.

This website contains links to external websites (e.g. GitHub, Packagist). When you click on these links, you leave this website. These third-party sites have their own privacy policies, and we have no control over them. We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of every site you visit.
7. Your Rights as a Data Subject
